With spring break coming up, students who choose to remain at Kenyon for the next two weeks might wonder how they will entertain themselves in rural Ohio without an active campus life to keep them busy. Here’s my advice for how to amuse yourself at Kenyon over break.
Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to plan and carry out a Weaver Wednesday for the Not For Sale Campaign. While I’d attended the weekly event many times before, planning Weaver Wednesday gave me a completely new perspective.
One of the best ways to adjust to living at Kenyon is to volunteer in the surrounding community.
I’m still not entirely sure how my teammates managed to convince me to do this, but a couple Saturdays ago, I was up at 4:30 a.m., dressed in show clothes (all borrowed), in a minivan with six other women on our way to a horse show at the University of Findlay.
