Kenyon Hidden Secrets: Arts & Crafts Edition

You may have been able to deduce by now that I'm a bit of a knitter. It's an obsession that's only fueled my reputation as a grandma (if you aren't going to bed at 9:30 on a Wednesday then you, my friend, are not livin'). But this wasn't always me! Before I came to Kenyon, craft projects started with smiles and inspiration and ended with a puppet that was too small for its popsicle stick that my backpack eventually ate. During the first semester of my first year at Kenyon, I took a beginning knitting class at the Craft Center. I then blacked out and woke up a year later tangled in a knitted loop scarf.

This enthusiasm for crafting was shaped by the facilities that Kenyon offers, and it's something I never expected when I applied. Kenyon has a lot of hidden secrets that you can't find in brochures or promotional videos............UNTIL NOW (BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE).

I hope you all are having peaceful and relaxing holidays. Let's all create something wonderful this break!
