Presidents of institutions in the Five Colleges of Ohio Consortium (Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wooster) published a letter to Ohio Senator Rob Portman on Nov. 20, 2017, detailing their concerns about pending congressional tax legislation.
Chaired by Brackett B. Denniston ’69, the Kenyon College Board of Trustees met in Gambier on October 26–27, 2017. The Board approved budget and financing plans for the construction of the library and west academic quadrangle; heard updates on plans for interim library services and study spaces; and received reports on projects to be completed in advance including the proposed siting of temporary library facilities and the construction of two new English buildings.

The issue of sexual misconduct is of critical concern on college campuses across the U.S., and one we take seriously here at Kenyon. One of the tools we use to track our progress is the Sexual Assault Campus Climate Survey, developed by the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium. Kenyon was one of more than 50 colleges that participated in the first administration of the survey in 2015, and we did so again this year.
