Plans are underway to engage the community in creating an interactive and evolving art installation on the wall surrounding the construction site for the West Quad. The proposal was submitted to the Public Art Committee by Janet Marsden, vice president for communications, and Claudia Esslinger, professor of art, and approved by the Committee on Sept. 5. The surface of the wall is being primed this week in preparation for the project, which will proceed in two phases beginning this fall.
