The Kenyon College Board of Trustees met by video conference on May 11, 2020. This was the second of two meetings held this spring to discuss the planning that is underway for next academic year in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
On May 8, 2020, President Sean Decatur sent a message to Kenyon staff and faculty announcing an open forum on May 14 at 11 a.m.
On May 8, Kenyon sent an update to families, which included the announcement of an online celebration for the Class of 2020 on May 29 and other news related to COVID-19 and virtual engagement opportunities.
On May 7, Kenyon sent announcement to seniors, their families and the campus community about plans to host a virtual celebration of the Class of 2020 on Friday, May 29.
In a email to the campus community, Civil Rights/Title IX Coordinator Samantha Hughes shared that the Department of Education has issued new federal regulations regarding the enforcement of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and mandated institutional compliance by Aug. 14, 2020.
