Robyn L. Bowers
As a passionate fan of both the rolling fields of Ohio and liberal arts colleges, Robyn feels right at home at Kenyon. Robyn double majored in English literature and Latin at Denison University, where she also spent a lot of time practicing her backward walk as a tour guide. While at Denison, Robyn was a varsity athlete and served as student coach of the women's basketball team. Prior to joining the Office of Admissions at Kenyon, Robyn worked in the admission office of Otterbein University and directed a first-year retention program at Western Michigan University. She has a master's in higher education and student affairs from The Ohio State University. Currently working on a doctorate in higher education from Michigan State University, Robyn is well-versed in all forms of procrastination and is happy to share tips with prospective students. In her free time, Robyn enjoys following all sports and reading anything non-school related, particularly Scandinavian crime fiction. She also is an avid, though extremely amateur, cyclist and is excited to explore the roads around Gambier.
