Sean Decatur, an emerging national leader in higher education, became the nineteenth president of Kenyon College on July 1, 2013. A champion of the liberal arts, President Decatur earned a bachelor's degree at Swarthmore College and a doctorate in biophysical chemistry at Stanford University.
I am thrilled this weekend to welcome alumni of the Kenyon Educational Enrichment Program (KEEP) back to campus to mark an important milestone: the 10th anniversary of the program.
Kenyon is launching an effort to raise $20 million to establish the President’s Fund for academic excellence and diversity. The goal of this fund is simple, powerful and essential: to give Kenyon the financial capacity to bring promising underrepresented students from low-income backgrounds to Kenyon.
