I’m only a few weeks into my first creative writing class at Kenyon, but already I’m slightly overwhelmed and increasingly thrilled by this unexplored side of Kenyon. I’ve traced my thought process from these past five weeks below to give you a sense of what I’m experiencing.
During my first few weeks of Spanish class, I was undeniably intimidated.
This past Wednesday, my advisor, Professor Natalia Olshanskaya, passed away. Professor meant so much to the Russian department, to the Kenyon community and to me.
When I received my first graded English paper here, I scrolled quickly through the pages and saw comments everywhere. Initially, this led to dismay. Now, it leads to delight.
