The Kenyon journey is a collaborative, open-ended and ever-renewing tale of growth, and as a graduating senior, I am excited for you to take ownership in writing that story while seeking comfort in uncomfortable situations.
In the midst of all the uncertainty about school and online classes, getting my pencil case in the mail was a sign of comfort. It was like having a little piece of my Kenyon experience with me again, a small constant in an ever-changing time.
I’m ready to move on to my next thing, but I’m deeply sad that I won’t get a final goodbye. It’s the people that make a place a home.
Even though I wish my abroad experience hadn’t been cut short, my last few days in Exeter were as lovely as they could’ve possibly been, and I’m so grateful to the people and the country that made my experience as memorable as it was.
