My younger brother has just sent out his college applications. How do I prepare him for what’s to come? While I know he wants to attend a big school, I still think he can use three of the greatest lessons I’ve learned from my liberal arts education at Kenyon.
We are all so caught up in the highs and lows of freshman year that we don’t have the time to stare at ourselves in the mirror and define ourselves with our own eyes. We forget who we are and what we are presenting to others in this new environment.
