Class of 2018
Major — English
Hometown — Framingham, Massachusetts
I had a tortoise in my middle school and high school years, and he really shaped me as a person (he now lives with my aunt). I read books, sing songs, play trombone, peal bells, and eat a whole lot of split pea soup.
I look at my friends, my professors, my professors who are also my friends, and all the things we’ve built together in a tiny Ohio town, and I know that Kenyon has changed me, irrevocably, into a different version of myself.
Since the beginning of the school year, the Chamber Singers have been rehearsing five days a week in preparation for our spring break tour. This year, we toured the Southeastern U.S., and I documented our trip from Gambier to Georgia and back, including our four concerts and all of the bus ride games, baby chick sightings and sweet tea drinks in between.
College is important, but so is your health. It’s all about finding the right balance. Here are my tried and true do’s and don’t’s for coping with the Kenyon Krud.
