Class of 2020
Major — Neuroscience
Hometown — St. Louis, Missouri
Hello! I’m a senior from St. Louis, Missouri. I’m a neuroscience major, anthropology minor, and I’m pre-med. Outside of classes, I love to run on the cross-country team, fix bikes at the Kenyon Bike Barn, play music with friends and attempt to bake desserts in my apartment. You’ll usually find me walking down Middle Path holding cinnamon tea.
At Kenyon, everyone picks up their mail from the Gambier post office. As a graduating senior, I wanted to take a moment to pass on some advice to the next student who will get postcards, letters, absentee ballots and care packages in my old mailbox.
Built for non-physics majors but taken by all who wish to launch rockets on the rugby field for credit, the point of the class was to excite us all about physics.
We went on tour to make connections and get our music outside of the indie-loving Kenyon music scene, and in that regard our venture was a huge success. Even more exciting is watching our number of Spotify listeners go up with every show we play.
We have no clue if the thing we have poured our lives into will be accepted for publication, but right now all we can do is check for typos. The craziest part is that on an author line including many people with doctorates, my name gets to go first.
