I know, I know, I’ve been MIA for the past couple of months. Life got really crazy over the summer and I just didn’t have any time to blog. However, now that I’m settled in – I hope – to my new triple room in Hanna hall, to the Library and to the Science Quad (I LIVE in these three places, in no particular order), I figured that now is as good a time as any to update you on the “summer that was too short to accomplish anything.”
Being on an athletic team has its ups and downs. We win, we lose and we travel. Some of the best moments of each season happen while on the road. This past weekend the soccer boys went to Danville, Kentucky. It was about 6 hours away. We stopped at a mall. Yes we wear matching polo shirts. They look amazing.

Hey kids. I don't have much time to write today because I am mOVING ACROSS THE OCEAN. My plane leaves this evening for England so I'm spending most of my day throwing things into a suitcase and wondering if it's acceptable to take a nap at 10AM. But I'm not neglecting you! I've crafted a lil' video of my summer with deep, insightful reflection and awkward narration. Check it out!
It's still just as exciting as it ever was.
