Being on an athletic team has its ups and downs. We win, we lose and we travel. Some of the best moments of each season happen while on the road. This past weekend the soccer boys went to Danville, Kentucky. It was about 6 hours away. We stopped at a mall. Yes we wear matching polo shirts. They look amazing.

Hey kids. I don't have much time to write today because I am mOVING ACROSS THE OCEAN. My plane leaves this evening for England so I'm spending most of my day throwing things into a suitcase and wondering if it's acceptable to take a nap at 10AM. But I'm not neglecting you! Do you get the reference? This is me appealing to the youths. But sometimes the creative writing scene at Kenyon does feel a bit like a reality TV show. If you throw a hundred good writers into a pit with three ruthless professors, only about ten or so will emerge, clutching a manuscript with ink on their faces. If you want to take a creative writing class at Kenyon, you’re going to have to face up to some inconvenient truths.
