Lover of knitting, cats, and hot baths, I spent most of my childhood pretending to be British and watching and reading Harry Potter at the same time to see if I could finish reading first. Now I'm cool.

"Happy Feet" Half Marathon Training Club!

By Kate Lindsay on January 26, 2015

I'm hesitant to call myself a runner. I only started a few summers ago, and it's something that I would do really intensely for a few months, and then for a few kind of forget about. This school year, however, I've found myself on a pretty steady schedule. I go to the KAC every other day, whether it's for a class or to use the weight room, and it helps me unwind and feel productive. But I never planned on doing anything more serious with it until I got an email about Happy Feet, a new half-marathon training club.

The Kenyon Review Holiday Party!

By Kate Lindsay on December 5, 2014

I've written about the Kenyon Review before, and since coming back to campus as their publicity intern, I've felt more connected to the KR family than ever before. Our annual holiday party was this week, and we all gathered at the home of Liz Forman '73 for cookie decorating and snowflake making and bookish presents. I made a short and sweet lil' video to hopefully get you in the (literary) spirit!

Swaying with The Stairwells

By Kate Lindsay on November 7, 2014

After Noah's post about singing with the Kokosingers, I realized I've neglected to write about my own a cappella group on this blog. It's not so much The Beatles. Maybe if they wore a lot of flannel and kept forgetting their lyrics. In terms of groups on campus, The Stairwells are pretty one of a kind.
