Lover of knitting, cats, and hot baths, I spent most of my childhood pretending to be British and watching and reading Harry Potter at the same time to see if I could finish reading first. Now I'm cool.

If You Give A Kenyon Kid A Midterm

By Kate Lindsay on October 24, 2014

If you give a Kenyon Kid a midterm, they're going to hole up in Wiggle Ground. If they hole up in Wiggle Ground, they'll neglect their other activities. If they neglect their other activities, they'll have a breakdown about their whole self-worth as a human and question the success of their life thus far. If they have a breakdown about their whole self-worth as a human and question the success of their life thus far, they're gonna want some ice cream.

Lorde and Ladies!

One of my fears about coming to Kenyon was that I would feel "imprisoned" on this hill for months at a time until I could reach civilization again. While I weirdly came to love the community that you build by isolating yourself in Wiggin Street Coffee or roaming the bookstore, getting off campus is just as common. While I've been to many-a-concert at The Horn on campus, this was my first time jetting off to Columbus to see a big name.

Day In The Life

I'm back on the Hill for my senior year! Things are just settling down and they're awesome. I thought I'd film a little video to show you a typical day in my schedule. Working with the Kenyon Review, going to class, drinking lots of iced coffee, meeting Beyonce, etc. Check it out!

Kenyon-Exeter: Year in Review by Kate Lindsay and Jenna Nobbs

By Kate Lindsay on June 5, 2014

So, after all these posts, are you interested? I hope I've managed to make clear how valuable a study abroad experience is--the hard part is figuring out which one is right for you. In order to present the Kenyon Exeter program as broadly as possible, Jenna Nobbs '15, another member of the program, has also contributed a piece about her experience. We share a lot of the same positive sentiments: the work, the independence, the travel. I think the differences in our experiences are valuable, and I hope you take the time to read both sides as you work towards a decision.
