If there are five stages of graduation, I'd say I'm on about number three.
There are 32 days left between me and graduation. The End is approaching all too fast.
As I'm writing this, I am seated by Zack Eydenberg '18 and we're about to fly back to Columbus. I'm devastated for two main reasons; I still have not completed any of my assignments, and I'm just weeks away from graduating from Kenyon College. However, I am in a better place now because of the amazing spring break experience I've had. Four weeks before spring break, I had no job, no prospects and no idea where to start. Now, while I still have no job, I have some prospects and I think I have a better idea of what I'm doing. All this "growth" is a result of the amazing connections I made through the Kenyon alumni network.
I was recently featured in an article about hair in the Collegian Magazine, and so I thought it was a befitting time as any to talk about hair. If you know anything about me at all, you know that I'm a Natural Sista and I looooove talking about my hair. I've only been natural (read: comfortably afro-textured) since May 2, 2012 (read the process of becoming natural on this post). And it’s done me all sorts of wonders!
